With cost management still high on board agendas, 90% of CEOs are increasing investment in AI to reduce long-term costs [BCG, 2026]. For security leaders, this means scaling security in step with transformation so it doesn’t become a constraint on business performance.

But scaling AI also introduces a new vulnerability: non-human identities (NHIs) across the network. The ratio of NHIs to humans has risen from 10:1 in 2024 to 92:1 in 2025 [Forrester, 2025]. Not only are these identities more complex to secure, but 63% of organisations are deploying AI without the proper processes in place to assess the security of AI systems [WEF, 2025].

With this trend showing no signs of slowing, what steps should you be taking to support digitalisation at speed without increasing exposure to risk?

An intimate dinner at a Michelin-starred location

2nd June 2026 // City Social // 6:30-9:30 PM

Jason Atherton’s handsome restaurant on the 24th floor of Tower 42 is dark and moody, with a subtle art deco twist. It boasts impressive views of the City skyline and the menu offers generous modern European dishes including multiple cuts of Cumbrian beef cooked on the Josper grill, from rib-eye to sirloin. The wine list offers an appealing mixture of prices and styles, and there are noteworthy cocktails too.

Thank you for an incredible meeting. The guests were genuine C-level people, which is rare. Congrats.

Usually, I am critical of these meetings. But I was pleased to be part of this one. No regrets. It was a great session.
