CHANGE MAKERS AND INFORMATICA PRESENTS

THE IRONY OF DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

Virtual, private roundtable Time 11:00-12:00 MARCH 31st

“By the end of 2022 over 90% of enterprises will be relying on a mix of private and public clouds and legacy platforms to meet their data needs”

[IDC, 2022]

The irony of accelerating digital transformation is that for most businesses, it will actually worsen technical debt rather than improve it (Forrester, 2021). For CIOs, addressing technical debt is a persistent and pervasive problem that is gaining momentum, not subsiding. And at the sharp end of this problem is growing data complexity.

Indeed, the data fabric of an organisation can be clearly linked to overall business performance. The Global CDO Study (IDC, 2022) revealed that those with a high level of data maturity generate 250% more business value from their data. A strategic approach to reducing data complexity and maximising business value is essential for medium term performance.

As a group of CIO/CDOs of large-scale organisation, how can we build a strategic fabric for our data needs now and in the future? Join us as we debate this topic and expand on insights from interviews with CIOs and CDOs like you.

Who Should Attend?

Senior information focused decision-makers such as CIOs, VPs, CDOs and other data-focused executives working within large scale organisations, with an interest in the future of data management and its role in accelerating the modernisation of their organisations.

Attendance is capped to ensure every participant is able to contribute. The meeting is only open to invited participants or those who have been referred by a colleague or our partner, Informatica.

WHO’S OUR CLUB PARTNER?

A special thank you to Informatica for their support of the Change Makers Club. Informatica leads the next generation of Cloud Data innovation and helps organisations to empower their data with industry-leading cloud data management solutions.

What is the experience?

All of our virtual roundtables are focused, collaborative and informative. As a participant you join via video and – thanks to a chaired and moderated discussion – take away actionable ideas to implement within your business and with your customers.

Prior to the virtual meeting taking place, each attendee is interviewed to understand their interests and perspective. Those who register early will also contribute towards the insight report, which will be published prior to the virtual meeting and will be the focus of the discussion.
