Deloitte recently reported that finance leaders have reached a tipping point, shifting from a defensive strategy to an expansive one. Aggressive investment is now planned in technology with 89% of finance leaders spending more on digitalisation. The goal is to rapidly accelerate the process of finance transformation.
One of the stand-out priorities is Accounts Payable. 47% of businesses are still reliant on manual AP processes (Forbes, 2021) hampering their effectiveness and impacting their bottom line. Indeed, organisations that use little AP automation are spending five times as much per invoice as those that have automated most of their AP process (Forbes, 2021).
