Change Makers presents

Is customer obsession enough to weather the storm?

34 Mayfair, London

Tuesday 14th March

18:30 – 21:30 GMT

“The single most important thing is to focus obsessively on the customer.”

– Jeff Bezos

Customer-obsessed organisations are winning big, reporting 2.5 times higher revenue growth and 2.2 times better customer retention than average players [Forrester, 2022]. The bottom line is, meet your customers’ expectations or they will shop where the grass is greener.

Trouble is, you can’t invest into every customer relationship, and you shouldn’t. With 80% of your future revenue coming from just 20% of your current customers [Gartner], do not attempt to play the field but instead zero-in on your most valuable consumers.

In today’s economic climate, getting it right matters; 2023 consumers are price-conscious and holding on to their hard-earned cash. Engaging the right customer with the right message at the right time will be critical for success. How do you identify your most valuable 20% and become obsessed with these customers in 2023?

THE VENUE

The Emin Room, 34 Mayfair

34 Grosvenor Square, St Audley Street, London

The Emin Room, located on the first floor above the main restaurant, houses specially commissioned art by celebrated artist Tracey Emin and is filled exclusively with her works, evolving as she adds one-off creations from tapestries to individual bronzes and upholstery, paintings and neons to the collection.

34 Mayfair’s menu is mainly focused on a modern British approach to cooking. Head chef, John Edwards, has created a selection of menus especially for The Emin Room. Seasonality plays a major part in the dishes at 34 Mayfair, and guests will be served a selection of seasonal game, vegetables, fish and meat from a series of carefully crafted menus.

OUR SUSTAINABILITY PLEDGE

We’re committed to supporting our society and environment. When you attend a Change Makers Club event, we pledge to neutralise your carbon footprint. To offset your travel or energy usage we will plant a tree via One Tree Planted. Once mature, the average tree has a net absorption of 30 kg of CO2 per year, which equates to 227 miles of travel by car or 96 hours of office usage. You can see our maths here.
