Despite uncertainty in the UK market, scale-up business leaders are optimistic about growth in 2020. To achieve this growth, it’s crucial you make the right decisions at the right time. A recent study by McKinsey uncovered that the decisions you make as CEO are directly attributable to 45% of your company’s performance, meaning your decisions will have the greatest single impact on your company’s success in the year ahead.
But business leaders are humans, not machines. You don’t have perfect judgement, perfect experience or perfect skills; and this makes it impossible to make perfect decisions. Indeed, most business leaders are so focused on running their business they spend very little time honing their skills; less than 3% according to a study by HBR [2018]. This makes for a risky mix in 2020 and begs one key question – how can you ensure you are making the right decisions to successfully drive growth in the year ahead?
If this is on your agenda, then join us to discuss three important questions:
The discussion is being chaired by our scale-up expert, Dom Monkhouse. Attendance is complimentary and by invitation only. Chatham House Rule apply.
Dom is a proven architect of business growth. He headed up teams that Scaled Up two UK technology service firms. First Rackspace in Uxbridge to £25m in 5 years. Then Peer 1 Hosting in Southampton to £30m in the UK and $200m globally in 5 years.
Now he helps others as a business growth coach and work with clients and their teams in the Management Lab he built on a farm near Salisbury.
The Club is exclusively for CEOs, Managing Directors, and other senior business leaders from a scale up business of 30-200 employees. Joining you will be 12 other scale-up senior business leaders. Registrations have just opened for the session and will update regularly on this page.
