"Over 70% of ERP implementations fall short of their original business objectives."
Gartner, 2025
The conversation around Digital Transformation failure rates isn’t new. Back in 2015, only 26% of programs were successful. A decade later, failure rates have only improved by 4%, with 70% still failing to achieve their stated goals [McKinsey, 2025]. And this is despite hundreds of millions invested by every enterprise company.
So, why haven’t failure rates meaningfully improved? Legacy technology remains a major barrier, with 61% of businesses still relying on a 20-year-old ERP system [Gartner, 2025]. And despite the rise of cloud computing and intelligent applications, companies are still unable to take advantage of new automation technologies like agentic AI.
But what needs to be done to overcome the flaws of ERP and build a platform for the future? Join us as we discuss and debate the future of ERP and digital transformation.

An intimate dinner at
Michelin-starred location
City Social, Tower 42, London / 6:30-9:30PM
Jason Atherton’s handsome restaurant on the 24th floor of Tower 42 is dark and moody, with a subtle art deco twist. It boasts impressive views of the City skyline and the menu offers generous modern European dishes including multiple cuts of Cumbrian beef cooked on the Josper grill, from rib-eye to sirloin. The wine list offers an appealing mixture of prices and styles, and there are noteworthy cocktails too.
