“Without good cash flow, even the most profitable businesses cannot survive”
Deloitte, 2024
With economic and political instability mirroring Cold-War levels, finance teams need to streamline operations, particularly in cash flow management [Barron’s, 2024]. Cash is the lifeblood of any business. And as a result, 82% of companies are implementing AI to mitigate the complexity of modern cash collection [McKinsey, 2024].
However whilst the promise of AI is clear, the execution remains challenging. In 2024, 74% of finance teams struggled to scale AI successfully, unable to translate pilots into meaningful operational value [BCG, 2024]. And with the margin for error removed in 2025, whether building in-house or buying off the shelf, businesses must act quickly to stay competitive.
So, how can finance leaders successfully leverage AI to optimise cash collection processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and turn cost-management strategies into a competitive advantage?

Yet, 74% of companies struggle to achieve and scale value [BCG, 2024]
